Position Summary:

Manages installation function to achieve sales goals and budgets by overseeing the following duties either personally or through subordinate supervisors.

What You'll Do:
  • Manages a large workforce consisting of employees and sub-contractor labor.
  • Conducts site visits before, during, and after installations to ensure quality standards and timely completion.
  • Reviews installation orders or schedules to determine required resources for on-time project completion.
  • Plans installation operations, prioritizing and sequencing installed products.
  • Reviews reports and resolves issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develops or revises standard operational practices and monitors compliance.
  • Ensures adherence to safety procedures in line with regulations.
  • Addresses worker grievances and maintains production data.
  • Carries out other assigned duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages employees and/or sub-contractors in the Installation function, overseeing work quality, and adherence to policies and laws. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, work allocation, performance evaluation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.

Minimum Requirements:

One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to four years of related installation experience; Or a suitable blend of education and experience. Prior experience in the building supplies industry is essential.
