The Gig:

Virgin Voyages is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager to join our Accounting team. Reporting directly to the VP Controller, the Sr. Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for driving process improvements.

What You'll Be Up To:

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary data and documentation.

Month-end Close: Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances. Work closely with the accounting team to address any discrepancies or issues.

Internal Controls: Help maintain a strong system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Audit Support: Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors during annual audits and reviews. Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to support audit assertions.

Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data and trends.
