About the Job Title:


The Sales Account Manager is in charge of spotting and examining external opportunities and threats to the organization in a particular area. To bring in a consistent stream of revenue-generating sales to achieve the division's goals and the company's overall objectives. It is crucial to have a good grasp of the local market and prior experience in the Residential Homebuilding Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate if an advertised project aligns with our work scope
  • Prepare bid documentation
  • Gather all necessary details for creating a formal bid proposal accurately
  • Analyze specifications and other documents to estimate time, cost, and labor requirements
  • Discover, estimate, present, and finalize new business within defined parameters
  • Coordinate with wholesalers and suppliers for pricing of required materials and fixtures
  • Offer timely updates on progress, market conditions, and competitors to the Sales Manager, Sales Team, and upper management
  • Review contract documents and suggest revisions when necessary
  • Help in updating job information in SAGE system and closing jobs as required
  • Meet or exceed personal annual sales targets
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure set goals and quotas are achieved
  • Price contract additions for various items as per the work scope
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution
  • Troubleshoot any issues during the construction process
  • Build strong customer relationships based on trust through regular strategic engagements
  • Advocate for the core values of 20/20 and motivate others to do the same
  • Perform other assigned duties


Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is a must
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of local market experience in Residential Homebuilding Industry, with a preference for construction experience
  • California Class C Driver License with a clean DMV record is mandatory
  • Must possess organizational skills, multitasking ability, and professionalism in dealing with all organizational levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • A forward-thinking individual capable of influencing and effectively engaging with people at all levels
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a team player mindset
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Enthusiastic team player with a drive to foster a positive work environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to adjust priorities based on organizational needs
  • Self-motivated, capable of making sound decisions independently with minimal supervision
  • Integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality maintenance are essential
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Committed to continuous improvement and learning


Physical Requirements:
The role of Assistant Account Manager involves mainly sitting, with occasional standing or walking. May need to visit job sites for inspections, requiring walking on uneven terrain for extended periods. Attendance at outdoor events and travel for building events may involve overnight stays.
