Role Summary:
- The Scheduler 1 will complete routine and non-routine activities to prepare project schedules.
- Responsibilities include visiting job sites, reviewing job statuses, updating project schedules, and assisting with training.
- All tasks will align with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.
Key Role Responsibilities - Core:
- Prepares, builds, and updates project schedules collaboratively with the project team
- Performs schedule reviews and communicates review comments effectively
- Participates in all construction planning & scheduling phases
- Assists with training and development of best practices
- Visits job sites regularly to review project statuses
- Supports lean planning sessions and prepares various reports
- Provides planning and scheduling support to operations and other functions
- Participates in pursuit opportunities with the project team
Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
- Proficiency in communication, MS Office, and scheduling software
- Understanding of plans, drawings, specifications, and construction management
- Knowledge of schedule logic, Lean process, and collaborative teamwork
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred)
- Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements
Experience:
- 0-2 years scheduling experience (Required)
Working Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Possible travel and non-traditional hours
- Office and site visits with exposure to various conditions
