The
Temporary Coordinator, Audience & Community Marketing position is a critical part of the Forbes Audience Development & Community Marketing team.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Audience and Community Marketing, this rising star will support the team in growing the audience for Forbes in-person, virtual and hybrid events.

The coordinator will collaborate with many departments and encompass a wide range of marketing functions. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Event Community Marketing:

  • Work across business groups to define and execute opportunities for live marketing, audience growth & data acquisition, across multichannels: newsletters, partners, house ads, organic and paid social.
  • Build landing pages for assigned events via WordPress.
  • Research additional resources and vendors to enable audience/database growth esp. as it relates to the communities we serve.
  • Maintain event timelines, and meeting schedules, and help manage the marketing process from planning through approval including stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to coordinate marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Database Management

  • Track and maintain WOW and YOY event analysis, BIPOC reports, postevent data folders and more.
  • Work with the entire AD team to implement digital surveys focused on virtual and inperson experiences and identify future improvement opportunities.
  • Work with audience and community marketing counterparts to ensure database crossover and overuse are minimized.

Customer Service:

  • Help maintain multiple event mailboxes, ensure all customer inquiries are met and any issues are forwarded accordingly in a timely fashion.

Onsite Event Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up onsite technology needs at registration
  • Present yourself professionally and kindly as you are the first person someone interacts with at an event
  • Understand all possible questions from attendees as you also serve as a help desk to ensure they have everything they need
  • Work with the logistics team to understand your role and call times for the event

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Based in the New York Metropolitan area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with incredible attention to detail; can prioritize and multitask and pivot on a dime
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, constantly changing and fastpaced environment
  • Curious, likes to learn new things, delve into complex problems and recommend solutions
  • Understanding of tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Pardot and Event Registration Platforms.
  • Positive 'cando' attitude
  • 13 years of relevant event marketing experience
  • A. degree from a fouryear college or university, preferably in the field of marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations or equivalent experience

The hourly rate for this role is $ $31.00
