Sunbelt is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Home Health contract position with a local client near Hiawatha, IA. Home Health RNs with at least one year of recent home health experience are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

Employment Type: Full-time, 13 week contract with potential to extend
Works Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, 40 hours per week (some on call and weekends required)

Responsibilities:

  • Asses home health and/or hospice patients
  • Implement, develop, document and evaluate the Plan of Care (POC) to ensure quality and continuity of care
  • Educate patients and/or their families regarding care, diet, medications, home safety, etc.
  • Travel in theHiawatha, IAarea

Experience:

  • OASIS Experience - Required
  • Homecare Homebase Software Experience - Required
  • 1-2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting - Required
  • CHPN certification - Preferred

Education:

  • Associates Degree of Nursing or Bachelors Degree of Nursing
  • IowaRegistered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
