  • Position: SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration:
    • Manage and administer SQL Server databases, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
    • Perform regular backups, index maintenance, and database optimization.
    • Utilize TSQL for scripting and automation of tasks.
    • Implement security measures to protect data.
  • Azure Migration Planning and Execution:
    • Assess on-premises databases for Azure migration.
    • Develop migration strategies based on requirements.
    • Execute database migrations to Azure.
    • Validate migrated databases.
  • Reporting Services Integration:
    • Utilize SSRS for generating reports.
    • Integrate databases with SSRS for insights.
  • Application Integration:
    • Collaborate with .NET developers for seamless integration.
    • Optimize database design for efficient data access.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years as DBA for SQL Server/Azure instances.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.
  • Azure SQL Database administration experience.
  • Strong SQL Server administration knowledge.
  • TSQL proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Access, .NET, and XML.
