Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • This role is a functional expert and leader of the Benefits, Training and Business Partner functions.
  • Manages benefit broker resources and benefits enrollment process and leave administration.
  • Designs and implements a competitive compensation system and benefit package to attract and retain Top Talent.
  • Responsible for the coordination, communication and implementation of all approved policies and procedures pertaining to human resource administration.
  • Assists with the development of reward and recognition programs that foster an environment where Team Members feel appreciated for their behaviors that are consistent with our company service standards.
  • Responsible for developing and delivering innovative enterprise learning strategies that drive organizational priorities.
  • Lead, implement and manage the design and development of training, education, culture transformation and internship programs across the organization.
  • Responsible for assessing training needs through surveys, interviews with team members, focus groups and consultation with managers.
  • In consultation with business leaders develop and implement high impact human resources programs in support of the company Mission, Values, and Strategies.
  • Coach leaders in developing organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of a culture that supports high performance to deliver on longterm goals
  • Advise and influence all levels of management on performance management, organizational development, and management effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of organizational health by analyzing trends in employee engagement/satisfaction, retention, etc.
  • Strategically plan the internship program and lead the selection, communication, rotations and placement of the interns
  • Take the lead on resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Work closely with the VP of HR and in house counsel to ensure legal compliance.
  • Conducts regular meetings with departmental Team Members to ensure proper flow of communication and timely resolution of HR matters.
  • Assists in the creation of a positive work environment that is energetic, friendly and that supports the company core values.
  • Monitor legislative/regulatory issues in human resources management and communicates these issues to the VP of HR.\
  • Provide Human Resources expertise, advice and guidance.
  • Assists in the Development of short and long term goals for the HR function
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related Degree. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of Human Resource Management Experience
  • Gaming Experience Preferred
  • Specific experience in FMLA, ADA, ERISSA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
  • Proven ability to closely partner with the Centers of Expertise and demonstrates a strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Leadership and Organizational Development, Employee Relations, and Diversity & Inclusion
  • Exceptional client relationship skills and demonstrated experience in developing consultative relationships at all levels, including the ability to influence decision makers
  • Knowledge of employment and labor law required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of Team Members.
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the preemployment process.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.
