Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the federal government's market research process to qualify opportunities, enhance acquisition strategy, and increase rockITdata's win probability.
  • Drive growth to achieve company goals of building a qualified pipeline and winning new business.
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients and facilitate necessary introductions.
  • Continuously scan Federal opportunity tools and databases to determine suitable opportunities.
  • Pursue new opportunities, capture requirements, and seek management approval.
  • Lead proposal processes comprehensively.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with the right collaborators.
  • Maintain sales stage and opportunity updates in rockITdata's pipeline application.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of necessary documentation.
  • Partner with marketing to enhance online presence and develop promotional materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 7 years of experience in selling strategy and IT consulting services to the Federal Government.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Significant experience in relationship-building and a track record of success.
  • Superior problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive work style and proficient in industry-related tools and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing an opportunity pipeline utilizing SharePoint.
  • Experience working with multiple federal agencies.
