Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the federal government's market research process to qualify opportunities, enhance acquisition strategy, and increase rockITdata's win probability.
- Drive growth to achieve company goals of building a qualified pipeline and winning new business.
- Arrange meetings with potential clients and facilitate necessary introductions.
- Continuously scan Federal opportunity tools and databases to determine suitable opportunities.
- Pursue new opportunities, capture requirements, and seek management approval.
- Lead proposal processes comprehensively.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with the right collaborators.
- Maintain sales stage and opportunity updates in rockITdata's pipeline application.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of necessary documentation.
- Partner with marketing to enhance online presence and develop promotional materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience in selling strategy and IT consulting services to the Federal Government.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both external and internal stakeholders.
- Significant experience in relationship-building and a track record of success.
- Superior problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proactive work style and proficient in industry-related tools and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing an opportunity pipeline utilizing SharePoint.
- Experience working with multiple federal agencies.
