Location: West Philadelphia, PA
Pay: $32/hr+(negotiable)

  • Contract Position | Full Time
  • Start/End Date: July 8th, 2024- June 13th, 2025
  • Caseload Details:
    • Preschool and childcare programs
    • Itinerant teachers in Early Intervention
    • The job is to go to multiple preschools each day for 30-45mins at a time.
    • This job requires a car.

Required Credentials/Non-Negotiables:

  • Bachelors degree in education or Masters/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
  • Active Pennsylvania PK and/or Special Education Teaching License OR be eligible for PDE emergency permit.

Duties:

  • Assess students skills and determine their educational needs.
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
  • Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
  • Discuss students progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.
