Your responsibilities include being a patient advocate at the front desk, handling communication via email and phone, processing patient payments, and utilizing various computer programs. Your impact on each patient's care journey, right from the waiting room, is invaluable.

Schedule:

  • Locations: Waynesboro, VA, Charlottesville, VA, and Staunton, VA
  • Type of Employment: Full Time - Float
  • Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday (7am to 4pm), Tuesday/Thursday (10am to 7pm)
  • Salary: Starting at $17/hour (Dependent on experience)

***Full-time PSS required to cover shifts in multiple locations***

Responsibilities:

We are looking for adaptable and patient-centric individuals who excel in communication and attention to detail. Your core duties will involve:

  • Welcoming and registering patients, providing necessary information
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Engaging with various parties such as insurance companies, attorney offices, and internal teams
  • Handling payment collection, insurance verifications, and authorizations
  • Offering relevant information to patients post-visit
  • Responding to inquiries from patients, providers, and colleagues

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma/GED required
  • Experience in Insurance Verification
  • Minimum 1 year of Front Desk Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in various physical tasks consistently throughout the workday
  • Manual dexterity for typing and other tasks
  • Capability to lift weights up to 25lbs using proper techniques
  • Visual acuity and auditory ability for effective communication and task completion
