JOB DESCRIPTION:
To perform all kinds of welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment.
Primary need is Second Shift, Monday - Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30amESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Meets all essential functions and qualifications.
Performs in and out of position welding.
Performs hand fabricating.
Participate in weld lab classroom training for Trane, ASME and/or PED certifications as needed.
Work involves considerable stooping, bending, and working on overhead assembles and on man lifts/platforms/risers/ladders.
Will be required to lift up to 35 pounds.
Receives work instructions from a member of management or a team lead.
Must be able to follow standard work, complete production and maintenance records and other documentation related to operations.
Must participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform the above duties with no additional training required.
Meet and maintain all safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Completion of formal welding program or equivalent on the job experience2.Demonstrated reliability3.
Weld Process:
Be able to qualify in 2F, 2G, 3F, 3G, and/or 4F position4.Ability to read engineering prints and weld symbols, as well as using basic measuring tools such as tape measures and levels
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1.Experience welding in an industrial setting with ASME welding standard requirements2.Experience in fitment of complex and heavy parts prior to welding3.
Prioritized experience in the following weld capabilities:

Pulsed MIG Weldingb.
MIG weldingc.
Stick weldingd.
TIG welding4.
Welders with ability to join Steel to steel, steel to stainless, aluminum, and other materialsPay and Benefits:
