Job Title: Computer Security Specialist at Arcticom

Arcticom is looking for a talented Computer Security Specialist to join their team. If you are passionate about supporting life cycle activities of the Marine Corps AMS-TAC application, then this role might be perfect for you



Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of the application.
  • Ensure system security measures comply with government policies.
  • Provide configuration management and assess modifications and vulnerabilities.
  • Offer guidance on Cybersecurity regulations and policies.
  • Conduct policy reviews and technical inspections.
  • Compose policy recommendations for emerging technologies.
  • Monitor and resolve system vulnerabilities.
  • Draft security documentation.
  • Research and analyze software applications for security monitoring.
  • Identify policy conflicts and provide solutions.
  • Stay updated on customer/government-driven changes.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years' experience in government cyber security.
  • Experience with Windows and Cloud computing.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Write System Security and Test Plans.
  • Analyze Security Test Results.
  • Advocate for IA design decisions.
  • Evaluate and implement security policies and processes.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience in program security roles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodology preferred.
  • Experience with security tools like Fortify, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence.


Necessary Physical Requirements:

Maintain a constant state of mental alertness; ability to move about.



Work Environment:

Primarily office setting with occasional travel.
