Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the insurance payment deposit logs and daily reporting
  • Prepare census reports for review prior to sending to billing department for processing
  • Reconcile program accounts with the billing department
  • Perform Billing Clerk duties and coordinate and perform account reconciliations
  • Ensure all insurance billing correspondences are provided to the billing department
  • Sort daily mail and provide to appropriate departments in a timely manner
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks as needed
  • Other Duties:
  • Assist with preparing policies and procedures for Compliance and Operations
  • Assist with schedules and other administrative duties for the Executive team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in medical billing or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) levels of care preferred
  • Understanding of medical terminology and coding (ICD10, CPT) preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance preferred.
