OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Regional Manager of Retread helps drive the continued success of our Retread Centers by working safely and efficiently.

The Regional Manager of Retread will be responsible for providing exceptional training, creating a safe work environment, and ensuring the activities of the retread plant run smoothly.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain a safe and clean facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.

Use all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and vests.

Recognize and resolve customer issues or complaints by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.

Analyze data, develop processes, forecast labor, and build costs for new initiatives or projects.


Oversee and Utilize the Inventory Management System to ensure that proper inventory levels and instock positions are maintained in each location.

Responsible for documenting and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure continuity across all Retread operations.

Effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and coach employees.

Conduct regular visits and weekly conference calls for each location in the applicable district.

Manage time off requests, wage increases, and recruiting functions in Talent Stop

Utilize the LMS and other necessary training tools to verify that training is complete and consistent in all locations.

Utilize the LMS to ensure that all employees are receiving performance evaluations in a timely manner.

Address employee issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Utilize the progressive discipline policy to manage employee issues. Collaborate with General Manager of Retread as necessary to manage employee issues.


Oversee labor management and effective scheduling at each location by ensuring that the master schedule is reviewed and updated as needed and adhered to each week.

Oversee each location's interior and exterior to ensure we are meeting established company standards in facility maintenance.

Support operations as needed, including serving as an interim Retread Plant Manager

Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and timely reporting of any issues or concerns.

Maintain personal grooming and company uniform standards.

Maintain company attendance standards.

Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
College Degree preferred.

Experience:

5+ years in a retail or warehouse management position required.

Requirements:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Must have a clean and consistent record of safety.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.

While performing the duties, the employee is frequently exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, and high-concentrated cleaning solutions.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Weekly travel will be required. This position will also require frequent phone calls at various times of day or night.
