Description:Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and coordination to ensure mission accomplishment, by way of accurate property accountability, control, distribution, reporting and compliance, IAW established regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices. Responsible for assisting the accountable officer in maintaining accountability of the stock record account, to include planning, directing, coordinating, and reviewing the efforts of personnel in the areas of material storage, inventory and material management, transportation, disposal, maintenance, and quality assurance and controls. Coordinates and provides managerial oversight of the functions of the material control section and transportation section to include the receipt, storage, issue, and transportation of all equipment and supplies in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, to ensure performance standards are achieved. Periodically reviews all internal operating procedures and implement execution of corrective actions or process improvements. Instructs personnel on supply systems and functional procedures. Communicates with internal and external SSA customers to develop and foster relationships with supported units, supported activities, and staff elements. Works with the accountable officer managing the review and optimization of field support requirements by collaborating with customers and stakeholders to assess support requirements, ensuring efficient material flow, and enhancing overall logistics processes, including maintenance, repair, and supply chain needs. Provides technical guidance to supported SSA personnel. Establishes, schedules, and supervises the conduct of physical inventories (10% cyclic, sensitive, location surveys, 100%). Implements the SSA policies, procedures, and priorities. Responsible to develop and implement plan(s) of action to alleviate backlogs, as necessary. Prepares, reviews, and submits required reports for accountable officer's approval. Provides regulatory and policy guidance and interpretation. Determines program objectives, priorities, resource needs, and formulates plans for the organization to accomplish its mission. Coordinates program efforts with other activities, synchronizes program focus and efforts, and assesses the organizational impact while working to accountable officer and staff elements to implement desired courses of action.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum12 years experience working with ATLAS / ECHO Warehouse Management System.
  • Minimum 12 years experience working with a Stock Record Officer managing a Material Control Office.
  • Experience managing a Supply Support Activity (SSA).
  • Experience working with a Stock Record Officer managing a Stock Record Account (SRA)
  • Experience with PBUSE and AESIP
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Business System Convergence (EBSC)
  • Knowledge of Financial Improved Audit Readiness (FIAR)
Desired Skills:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external customers to solve difficult problems. Ability to work independently with customers to meet short suspense critical deadlines.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
