Join a dynamic team as a Plant Controller at Tasteful Selections

Overview:
  • Provide financial leadership to support strategic decision making within the Plant.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize plant costs and performance indicators.
  • Help design and implement standard costing systems.
  • Be a key player in annual budget planning and forecasting.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report plant cost drivers, labor productivity, and overhead expenses.
  • Analyze product and plant costs to identify variances and performance trends.
  • Collaborate with Plant Operations on inventory exercises and audits.
  • Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives for process improvement.
  • Assist in financial planning for plant capital projects.
  • Participate in quarterly gross margin reviews and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies across departments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in agricultural or manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency in product costing and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cost Accounting or Operations Management.
  • Additional certifications (CPA, CMA, MBA) are a plus.
