Job DescriptionJob Description

Skills: Mechanical maintenance
Maintains and services a building or plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to systems and equipment. Conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage. Uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors. Orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks. Uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track and document activities. Follows established safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials handling. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager. 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all facilities and equipment
  • Ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary constraints
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics to senior management

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance management
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience with computer software
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
