Job Summary:
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Approximately two-years clinical practice in a designated specialty to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of unit and departmental policies and procedures, and to fulfill established quality and quantity standards for the job is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Proven leadership, facilitative and educational skills; Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and maintain effective contacts with a variety of clinical, technical and ancillary personnel; Evidence of collaborative practice with nurses and physicians; Project management/process improvement experience; Effective change coping skills; Exceptional oral/written skill.
