Ready Nutrition

Company Overview: Ready, a rapidly growing sports nutrition company in America, co-owned by Super Bowl Champion Aaron Donald and basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo, is seeking an individual to oversee Customer sales accounting and SG&A expense accounting.

Position Purpose: This role involves managing accounting and analysis of customer sales data to align with corporate goals. The position requires collaboration across the organization to ensure trade, advertising, and G&A expenses meet internal and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead departments in the annual budget and forecast process affecting gross sales, trade, advertising expenses, and other SG&A expenses.
  • Report and analyze sales by customer and item.
  • Account for Ready's trade and advertising expenses, comparing with budget/forecast/prior year.
  • Manage all SG&A expense accounting, comparing with budget/forecast/prior year.
  • Analyze customer profitability, collaborating with sales and category management for margin enhancement.
  • Calculate broker commission accruals and payments.
  • Analyze customer deductions for operational and cost optimization.
  • Develop pricing models/scenarios across the customer base.
  • Collaborate with accounting team and auditors on audits.
  • Utilize Ready's online platform for sales and margin analytics for the online channel.
  • Lead finance team in monthly reporting and financial analysis.
  • Participate in special projects supporting company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting, auditing, or financial analysis experience.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience with integrated ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
