General Summary:

Performs maintenance, support, implementation, troubleshooting and other duties related to the core technology infrastructure at Fisher-Titus. Maintains a working knowledge of current and emerging enterprise-level technology solutions to support existing infrastructure as well as plan for future initiatives. Provides direction and support to Network Engineers, and Helpdesk Technicians, as well as leads projects as needed.

Essential Functions:
  • Deliver and work on system wide projects across the spectrum of IT.
  • Responsible for the implementation, support, maintenance, patching, and overall uptime of the network infrastructure at Fisher-Titus.
  • Monitor network for availability to all users and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal availability.
  • Administer routine patches, fixes, and other security measures to network infrastructure according to industry best practices.
  • Actively participate in discussions with management detailing risks, exposures, and high priority items related to the network infrastructure.
  • Participate in design discussions for improvements to network architecture and assist with developing ongoing roadmap for network infrastructure.
  • Resolve network related issues escalated to the team both during business hours and as part of on call support.
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships and overall vendor communications regarding both in-use products and potential products to introduce to the environment.
  • Develop, maintain, and routinely test disaster recovery processes and procedures to ensure maximum redundancy and minimize disruptions to the business.
