As a Call Center Collections Professional at Spectrum, you'll monitor inbound and outbound call traffic to collect on bad debt accounts. This role involves direct communication with customers, utilizing account research and investigation to resolve or collect debt. It's a highly collaborative environment where colleagues support both customers and each other.

Essential Responsibilities of the Position
  • Supporting efforts to simplify and enhance customer experience
  • Researching accounts with debt and communicating with customers via phone
  • Acting based on transaction characteristics as necessary
  • Maintaining knowledge of regulations and internal policies
  • Contacting customers by phone to collect debt
  • Demonstrating professionalism when dealing with customers
  • Answering customer inquiries regarding unpaid debt
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping, mathematics, and general office procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work within operational hours

  • Problem-solving skills with various variables
  • Proficient negotiation and Microsoft Excel skills
