Digital Product Manager at Volvo Cars

  • Role Overview:

As a Digital Product Manager at Volvo Cars, you'll be the key player in shaping digital offerings related to time tracking, payroll, and compensation management. You'll work with a mix of experts to create forward-thinking solutions that boost efficiency and employee satisfaction while bridging global strategies with local needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Strategy: Develop and act on a solid product strategy aligned with business objectives, keeping an eye on market trends and user requirements.
  • Local Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of American Time and Pay and other Compensation and Benefits processes and legal context.
  • Requirements Gathering: Cooperate with IT experts to gather requirements, outline user stories, and prioritize features.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development cycle from start to finish, collaborating on intuitive, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.
  • User Experience: Ensure a seamless user experience by focusing on usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to optimize features and continuously improve the product.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Keep stakeholders informed about the product vision and progress.
  • Agile Methodology: Embrace agile practices and adapt to evolving requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager, preferably in HR, payroll, or time management.
  • Experience with ERP solutions (especially SAP SuccessFactors), ADP payroll, UKG Time management solutions is recommended.
  • Previous experience balancing global strategies and local needs.
  • Deep understanding of digital product development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for innovation and industry trends.
