Admin Assistant to Property Manager

Seeking an organized and motivated assistant to help manage a portfolio of properties.

The Admin Assistant to Property Manager will report to the property manager and perform duties such as assisting residents, collecting rent, doing basic bookkeeping, organizing property viewings, overseeing facility maintenance, evaluating applicants, and negotiating contracts.

Qualified candidates will have some previous experience in property management or real estate.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (flexible hours)

Location
Honolulu, Oahu

Pay
$17 to $18 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and schedule property viewings. Conduct property tours and interview prospective tenants.
  • Process applications, conduct credit checks, and negotiate contracts.
  • Inspect property conditions and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Manage budgets, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants.
  • Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Report any problems or issues to the property manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • College degree in business, management or real estate preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management or real estate with working knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic bookkeeping skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
