As a part of our tight-knit accounting unit, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are vital to the smooth operation of our financial activities. From overseeing vendor connections to aiding in the completion of end-of-month procedures, your role will play a key part in our prosperity. Additionally, with chances to alternate between front desk responsibilities and collaborating closely with our Accounting Supervisor, you will experience a dynamic and supportive workplace environment on a daily basis.

Here's a breakdown of what you will be engaged in:

  • Receive and authenticate AP invoices and requisitions
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
  • Manage vendor rebates and process credit card orders
  • Supervise sales and use tax monitoring and reporting
  • Aid in employee receivable and liability GL accounts
  • Create journal entries and support in month-end closure

What we require:
  • Robust organizational abilities with a sharp focus on detail
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with AP processes and accounting fundamentals
  • Outstanding troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • The capability to establish and uphold solid vendor connections
  • A team-oriented individual with articulate and effective communication skills
  • The capacity to handle discrepancies calmly and courteously
  • Effective time management capabilities
  • Commitment to upholding a neat and orderly workspace
  • Associate's degree in accounting or a related discipline
  • Two years of relevant work background
