Job Title: Data and Audience Strategist - Associate Director

Role Context:

We are in search of an enthusiastic Data and Audience Strategist - Associate Director to collaborate with clients on developing and executing an audience strategy involving data acquisition, audience insights creation, and audience architecture to bolster strategy, planning, and campaign execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Devise strategies for acquiring first-party data, assess client terrain, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders (client & agency) to recognize existing available data for formulating a comprehensive data strategy
  • Lead the formulation of audience strategies for retention, acquisition, and identifying untapped opportunities to drive growth
  • Generate audience insights, market analysis, and audience sizing, culminating in audience creation/segmentation to support growth strategies
  • Establish test & learn initiatives in partnership with planning, investments, and activation teams
  • Drive the development of hypotheses, use cases, and roadmap for implementing all changes influenced by the phasing out of third-party cookies
  • Pinpoint and evaluate the most suitable data sources (survey-based, behavioral, intent, passion points, triggers, motivation, transactional, psychographic, location...), data-oriented solutions, and technology partners (identity, CRM, CDP...)
  • Identify data deficiencies/requirements to continually enhance client deliverables
  • Keep clients informed about industry trends/alterations impacting audience strategies
  • Leverage WM, GroupM, WPP associates, and data-oriented capabilities to unearth additional client prospects for organic growth, pilot experiments, etc.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field with 5 to 8 years of experience in audience and data strategy applicable to marketing and/or media
  • Familiar with digital data technologies and collaborators (1st and 3rd party data, data lakes, data clean rooms, identity solutions, CDP, Clean Room, CRM ...)
  • Robust analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strategically minded professional with strong speaking and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic and deadline-oriented environments
  • Embraces a growth mindset, demonstrating an eagerness to learn and explore new ideas
  • Highly accountable and ownership-driven
  • Collaborative with a partnership-oriented mindset

The base salary for this role currently varies from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation is dependent on job-specific factors, such as business requirements, expertise, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
