Live Events Piracy Operator

Job Summary: The Live Events Piracy Operator will perform anti-piracy services, which support our new streaming service Peacock, for the client's Intellectual Property department. This includes monitoring various video platforms such as YouTube and Facebook, pirate websites, and other popular platforms by leveraging our client's search systems to identify potential pirated Live Events content.
Length: Through 12/13/2024
Location: Remote
Associate Vendors: We are accepting applications from candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated search coverage for large streaming sites (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc...) to identify pirated Live Events content.
- Submitting pirated content to 3rd party vendor for enforcement and removal of illegal content.
- Targeted searches for pirated content on momentous Live Events moments.
- Ongoing Live Events support for rest of Operations team and Intellectual Property department.
- Respond, evaluate and action direct internal requests for pirated Live Events content we are notified of through our internal email distribution lists.
- Work schedule will vary during the duration of the contract, some events are during the evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous knowledge or experience working with YouTube or Facebook video related operations
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with database
- General web search expertise using Google, Bing and other search engine platforms.
- General familiarity with Live Events and Sports.
- Fluency of online video streaming and live-streaming sites
- Experience with documenting hardware products preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience searching for or posting pirated content.
- Fluency of online video streaming and live-streaming sites
- Fluent in Spanish language
