Lead Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Lead Machine Operator to manage equipment setup and operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding of materials, production processes, and quality control
  • Diagnosing and maintaining extrusion equipment
  • Interpreting work orders and adjusting machine settings
  • Optimizing machine components for specific tolerances
  • Proficiency in equipment setup/changeovers
  • Completion of assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills required
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Focus on safety and quality standards
  • Experience with forklifts is beneficial

Physical Demands

The role necessitates the ability to:

  • Stand for extended periods
  • Lift weights up to 40 lbs.
  • Engage in various physical activities like bending, climbing, and reaching
