The State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Financial Assistance is seeking one (1) motivated analysts to join a high performing work environment where staff, customers, and business partners are respected and valued.

The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) position is located at 1001 I Street, 17th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.


Duties:

Under the supervision of a Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst is responsible for Division of Financial Assistance's (DFA) division support functions.

The division support functions include but are not limited to conducting pre-procurement review of Division intra-office requisition requests and acquiring the necessary approvals.

Review and analyze procurement requests for IT and Non-IT goods/services for the Division of Financial Assistance (DFA) using ethics and good business practices.

Organize and maintain the Division's supply area, maintain inventory, evaluate and project the Division's supply demands/trends to ensure adequate supply availability to Division staff at all times.

Create and maintain tracking spreadsheets to track supply orders, procurement invoices, and Admin budget authority. Manage timelines so that contracts are completed in a timely manner in order to avoid a lapse in service. Assist in gathering documents requested for Public Records requests, and review for confidential information. Work with multiple divisions as Liaison to resolve issues related to IT, telecom, State records keeping or facility malfunctions.

Generally, assisting division managers and staff in their day-to-day needs and requests to maintain smooth processes throughout the Division of Financial Assistance (DFA).
