To assist in the daily processes and activities throughout the school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- High School Student
- Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
- Excellent customer service and reliability
- Must pass fingerprint and background clearance
- Evidence of clear TB test within last three months when onboarding.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25-30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move
- Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance , stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.
COMPENSATION: Minimum Wage
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
HOURS: 17.50 hours per week - Monday-Friday 2:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families
- Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span
- Assists Site Lead and Site Aides with necessary tasks:
- Be willing to take initiative
- Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
- Performs other duties as assigned
