Position Summary

Responsible for researching and maintaining community partnerships and initiatives that address community needs and create lasting impact for HSFCU's employees, members, and its surrounding communities. Assists and coordinates the Credit Union's employee engagement, education, and philanthropic programs with the Community Impact Manager. Assists with the promotion and communication of all programs and initiatives internally and externally as needed. Assists in developing creative ways to support the Community Impact Strategic plan, goals, and objectives.

Qualifications/Experience

  • At least three years of related experience in community development, nonprofit work, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, nonprofit related business, or a related field.
  • Understanding and awareness of social issues affecting Hawai'i's communities.
  • Knowledge of program development, implementation, setting metrics, and assessing outcomes.
  • Basic knowledge and/or interest in local, state, and federal policies related to community development, social services, and public health.
  • Solid math skills. Able to analyze accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to support relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and communicate information.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to assist/coordinate multiple priorities and projects related to business equipment.
  • Ability to creatively communicate and promote initiatives for employee engagement, philanthropy, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Able to present information clearly with accuracy and when applicable to motivate others.
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of and experience in utilizing new technologies to communicate, educate & promote.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.

Salary Range

  • Minimum - $47,980
  • Maximum - $76,769
