Position is an entry-level HR Support role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for processing, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and recording checks received.
  • Responsible for finalizing payroll for NIS and NIS PR on Mondays
  • Files all weekly payroll documents in appropriate journals.
  • Attends Special Events meetings and prepares and distributes meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for onboarding new employees and presenting new employee orientation
  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking departmental training priorities
  • Responsible for updating employee information on the bulletin board weekly.
  • Responsible for office supply ordering and distributing.
  • Assist with benefit administration
  • Assist with employee relations investigations as needed
  • Field calls and independently address and resolve routine issues that arise.
  • Assists with the answering of employees' questions, complaints, or suggestions.
  • Assists with the compiling, distributing, tracking and reporting of monthly reports i.e. birthday list, reviews, anniversary list, turnover report and outstanding review list.
  • Assist with purchase requisitions and invoice approvals.
  • Assist Manager with gathering data for property operating licenses: Food Service, Music, Liquor, Pool, Salon, and vehicle registrations.
  • Responds to incoming correspondence; i.e. employment verifications, unemployment documents, labor statistics reports, workers comp inquiries.
  • Assists Human Resource Manager with all clerical duties.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 3 years previous Human Resource and administrative experience required.
