We're seeking an experienced Dental Billing and Collections Associate to join our team in CT or NY. In this role, you'll ensure proper reimbursement is received timely for services rendered. You'll audit all patient charts, process pre-authorizations and claims per insurance specifications, and verify that proper reimbursement is received for services provided. Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit patient charts and process claims per insurance specifications
  • Ensure timely reimbursement for services rendered
  • Verify accuracy of ICD-9 and CPT codes; handle pre-approvals for procedures
  • Prepare and maintain accurate payment records and reports
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and handle administrative duties related to revenue cycle support
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to pursue payments and correct billing errors
  • Process claims using billing software, follow up on unpaid claims, and manage adjustments
  • Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances; process patient and insurance refunds

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dental billing and collections
  • Knowledge of Husky claims and PPO, Indemnity, HMO and Capitation Insurance
  • Proficiency with Dentrix is required, Denticon a plus
  • Proficiency with Google Suite: Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of the FDCPA
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and customer service experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail

Your Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid position: 2-3 days in-office
