The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compile and analyze financial data for liability, asset, and capital accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop accounting policies and procedures manual.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff and manage financial reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of experience working within a finance/accounting or similar department.
  • Experience owning the month end close
