The Role

In this role, you will play a crucial role for Moderna to achieve its mission to deliver the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines.

The Product Owner leads the Commercial CMC Product Team and serves as the Value Chain Lead, . The VCL leads an integrated team comprised of Supply Chain, Quality, DS and DP Operations, Regulatory CMC, Technical Development.

Heres What Youll Do Drive value-chain management thinking at Moderna through applying continuous learning, operational improvement, plus a deep understanding of the needs of Modernas customers & patients. Work with commercial and development teams to achieve [blank]s target product profile. Act as the lead partner to the post-launch program team and commercial teams working to bring [blank] to people around the world. Lead integrated Value Chain strategy for life-cycle management, global seasonal launch (if required), platform-to-program evolution strategy, margin improvement strategies, supply chain design, line expansion, sourcing decision support, and more. Support customer engagement to drive continuous product improvement. Lead Value Chain Program risk management and objectives/key results management. Represent the program status, scenarios, and trade-offs for the program with senior leadership, and internal and external stakeholders and align on program/product direction. Ensure successful clinical demand management, supply planning, and execution for the franchise. Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications) 10+ years of experience working for a commercial-stage pharmaceutical/biotech company in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CMC Program Management, Value Chain Leadership, or similar field. MS preferred, with an understanding of CMC commercialization and value creation in the biopharmaceutical industry, and commitment to learn about the science behind our platform technology.
