Job SummaryJob DescriptionDelaware Basin OverviewSpanning across West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, ConocoPhillips holds a significant acreage in the Delaware Basin, with a focus on unconventional resources. We have developed expertise in exploring the basin's potential and currently operate numerous wells in the region.
In the past year, our operations in the Basin included multiple drilling rigs and a substantial increase in production. As we move forward, we are looking for a dedicated Delaware Measurement Technician to join our team.
DescriptionIf chosen for the role of Delaware Measurement Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring alignment with contract obligations and lease agreements related to metering, testing, calibration, and sampling. This role demands a sharp focus on safety and adherence to ConocoPhillips Measurement Policies.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Monitoring work activities for safety and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with metering and calibration standards
  • Active involvement in the ConocoPhillips Measurement Council
  • Adhering to company policies and safety guidelines
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams
  • Acting as the primary contact for editing processes
  • Supporting HSE Management System implementation
  • Reviewing project invoices and expenses
  • Providing training on policies and procedures
  • Supervising measurement testing and regulatory tasks
  • Operating company vehicles for job-related tasks
  • Enforcing safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Training fellow technicians on audit procedures
Basic/Required:
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience in electronic equipment calibration and repair
  • Capability to work in various conditions and locations
Preferred:
  • Technical certification in relevant fields
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in industry standards and software
  • Knowledge of metering technologies
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated safety leadership
