Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary:

Apply your manufacturing education, skills, and experience, as you work with a team of toolmakers and technicians to ensure the timely and efficient production or modification of precision molds, fixtures and other tooling, while adhering to company and industry safety practices and protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, manufacturing sketches and CAD data to understand manufacturing requirements.

• Manufacture components using conventional manufacturing equipment. • Setup and machine material on CNC machines using documentation and programming provided.

• Monitor and regulate cutting depth, speeds, and feeds during machining operations.

• Measure and verify the accuracy of manufactured components within the prescribed tolerances.

• Polish, fit and assemble various tooling components.

• Perform physical and dimensional checks on final tool assemblies.

• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience in machining, metal working, and tool making

• Experience in CNC setup and part machining

• Familiarity with Mastercam CAD/CAM software

• Familiarity with common tools and equipment used in the toolmaking process

• Good verbal and written English communication skills

• Adherence to industry safety practices and protocols

• Complete set of common machinist tools a plus

• Certification in tool and die making a plus Key Competencies:
