Overview

About the Role



Joining Toyota's Corporate Accounting Department as a Senior Analyst, General Accounting offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in handling company investment accounting tasks, FX activities, and general accounting responsibilities. Here, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure timely financial closes and accurate reporting.



Responsibilities
  • Execute various close tasks related to company investments, including monthly entries and fluctuation analysis.
  • Conduct monthly validation of FX interfaces and perform FX Revaluation processes.
  • Create ad hoc reports for tax and compliance purposes.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Support external and internal audits, including controls testing.
  • Update desk procedures, policies, and SOX narratives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting/auditing.
  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification or in process.
  • Experience with IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Knowledge of BPC and SAP S4/Hana Cloud.
  • Previous involvement in the automobile industry.
