Utah Transit AuthorityJob SummarySupports the Talent Acquisition and People Office Team through the administration of necessary transactional activity related to Onboarding new employees and internal employee movement within Utah Transit Authority (UTA) business units.

Assists in the day-to-day New Employee Onboarding transactions and employee movement to ensure UTA supports its employee movement and new hiring compliance commitments in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Maintains and updates confidential employee records. Identifies and assesses problems and inefficiencies, researches and analyzes data, and recommends solutions and improvements. Coordinates with outside vendors regarding unemployment matters and responds to and processes employee inquiries timely and efficiently. Assists and collaborates with the TA team and PO team on HRIS functions.
Minimum QualificationsEDUCATION/TRAININGAssociate degree in business, humanities, human resources or related discipline desired.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or HR Certification Institute (HRCI) certification preferred.
EXPERIENCETwo years of human resource related work experience.

Pay Rate:
