Senior/Principal Gameplay Designer

We are on the lookout for a skilled Gameplay Designer to be a part of our team and contribute to the creation of an exciting multiplayer gaming experience. Collaborating with various teams such as product, production, art, and engineering, you will play a key role in shaping a new, immersive open-world game.
Responsibilities:
- Develop game content, social features, and engaging gameplay elements
- Design high-level systems and advocate for them within the team
- Work closely with designers and managers to create diverse gaming experiences
- Collaborate with artists and engineers for system implementation
- Contribute to world design, gameplay systems, and more
- Maintain design specifications and balance game features
- Prioritize player experience and create user-focused stories
- Implement game systems with feedback-driven adjustments
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to enhance player experiences
Requirements:
- Experience in player-centered game design
- Technical proficiency in feature implementation
- Deep understanding of game mechanics and best practices
- Ability to tune and balance gameplay
- Minimum 8 years of game design experience
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability
- Knowledge of free-to-play mechanics and design strategies
- Bonus: Experience in MMORPGs, Sims, Survival Games, RPGs, or Virtual Worlds
- Excellent communication skills and feedback delivery

Salary Information:
A salary range of $115,000 to $160,000 per year, with additional benefits and equity.
