My client, a stable yet booming logistics organization in Murfreesboro, is adding a Staff Accountant due to growth. This is a great opportunity to be mentored and to learn accounting and some financial analysis. Hybrid with three days from home. Flexible starting times. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

  • The Staff Accountant will prepare and post journal entries.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, and other adjusting entries.
  • Code and enter invoices and track assets and lease agreements.
  • Assist with financial analysis, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting ss needed.

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting is required.
  • Ability to work two days onsite in Murfreesboro.
  • Positive attitude with drive to learn.
