The Pup Truck Driver will be in charge of safely and efficiently providing waste removal services to our valued customers. If you are interested, keep reading to learn more about this exciting opportunity



Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a pumper truck, ancillary equipment, and pumping system to service and clean porta let units on a specified route.
  • Load and unload equipment on trucks and trailers.
  • Unload collected waste at disposal locations.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to the mechanic and supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain route quality standards as set by management.
  • Follow all safety standards, equipment checks, and precautions during all duties.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle at all times and ensure the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Report any accidents or incidents to supervisors immediately.
  • Exhibit professionalism when dealing with customers and the public.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to enhance routing efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED desired.
  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • At least one year of satisfactory commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate preferred.
  • Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria according to company standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of the truck, its components, and basic maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Efficient communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Capability to comprehend documents, maps, and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and the drive for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Various physical activities such as standing, walking, using hands, climbing, balancing, and more.
  • Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, etc.
  • Lifting capacities up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Sitting may be required for driving duties.
  • Working in loud conditions and outdoor environments.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent exposure to loud noise, diverse weather conditions, mechanical parts, chemicals, and more.
  • Constant work in outdoor environments.
  • Occasional work in high places and motor vehicle traffic.
  • Environment may be loud.
