  • Ensure the quality of products meets Lowes Foods standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department and backroom per Lowes Foods standards.
  • Provide training, guidance, and feedback to ensure satisfactory performance standards among grocery department employees.
  • Assist with stocking products and providing customer service to uphold standards.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and adherence to scheduling standards.
  • Control grocery shrinkage by implementing proper stock loss measures.
  • Verify pricing accuracy and scanning of items through audits and correct scanning procedures.
  • Maintain the organization of the backroom.
  • Ensure advertised items are stocked, signed, and scanned accurately.
  • Assist in preparing the grocery department for inventory checks.
  • Collaborate with Store Manager, Grocery Manager, and Receiver to uphold product levels and quality.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Capability to lift 40 lbs consistently and 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Proficiency in reading and comprehending information and instructions.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a supermarket setting.
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop team members.
  • Willingness to learn various job tasks and technical requirements.
  • Effective communication, customer service, and sales abilities.
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods.
