Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists with the research, analysis, and selection of reliable commercial off the shelf (COTS) / government off the shelf (GOTS) components for evolutionary technology insertions into GSK STATIC 2 based on SOCOM mission requirements
  • Supports test planning, system configuration, system installation, dry run execution, and provide in-test support for testing events
  • Delivers technical and operator training classes at various SOF locations and bases to ensure GSK operators and maintainers are adequately trained. This training will consist of initial set up of equipment, testing, troubleshooting, fault isolation techniques, and available GSK STATIC 2 training resources/references
  • Prepares and updates operator training documents to include GSK STATIC 2 operator training syllabi and system Quick Reference, Maintenance and Operational Guides
  • Assists with preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
  • Assists with the creation of technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation
  • Travels up to 50% CONUS (typical travel between 15% and 25%
Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years of experience with conventional and SOCOM SIGINT operations, IP networking, documentation development, and training delivery
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Current CI Polygraph (or willing to complete)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent) or within 6 months of hire
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with software defined radio (SDR) configuration and management
  • Experience with collection operations and dataflow configuration
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements
  • Strong time management skills
