About the Role

The Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team is crucial to our operational triumph in the distribution sector of the business. Identifying potential equipment failures and eradicating those risks is our ultimate goal.

We are in search of a proactive leader in Reliability Programs and a technical expert for Fulfilment Center operations. This position revolves around enhancing the lifespan, dependability, and operational efficiency of various equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, robotics, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Instill and advocate for a safety culture on-site, involving subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors
  • Act as the local expert in maintaining material handling systems
  • Manage the inventory and maintenance planning program for the site, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure quality execution of the maintenance program through routine audits and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with local maintenance leadership for reliability standards alignment and seek feedback for process adjustments
  • Lead the development, assessment, and upkeep of a skills matrix for the local maintenance team
  • Enhance maintenance procedures to streamline operations and boost equipment efficiency
  • Establish and monitor equipment reliability metrics and work with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize tasks and enhancements
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Permanent Corrective Action plans
  • Oversee newly installed equipment and major equipment overhauls at the site
  • Execute a minimum of two Continuous Improvement projects annually to generate cost savings
  • Act as the primary bridge for communication with the Central Reliability Team and support regional growth initiatives
  • Track budgets and assist senior maintenance leaders in achieving yearly cost savings
  • Create, implement, and share best practices within the facility and across sites
  • Provide technical support for both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks as needed
  • Travel may be required up to 25%
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering
  • Proficiency in computers, including MS Excel, Word, and Office
  • Experience with CMMS systems and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis
  • Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, shifts, and areas
  • Available for 24/7 emergency on-call duty as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Reliability Engineer/Manager or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in team management, budget oversight, supplier management, and client relations
  • CMRP/PMP certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience managing teams in an industrial environment with conveyance and process control systems
  • Proficiency in Preventive maintenance procedures, Industrial electrical work, Industrial controls, and Industrial electronics & robotics
  • Experience in providing technical training and utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Ability to convert complex compliance requirements into scalable processes
  • Skilled in motivating and leading teams, fostering accountability, and interacting with various management levels
  • Organized with strong project management abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
Physical Demands
  • Regular bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
  • Lifting objects and tools weighing an average of 20 pounds, occasionally up to 49 pounds
  • Dexterity in eye-hand coordination, foot pedal usage, manual tasks, and wrist movements
  • Working conditions may include confined spaces, dust, temperature variations, noise, vibration, and prolonged standing on hard surfaces

The expected salary for this role ranges between $116,126.00 and $127,739.04 annually, inclusive of bonuses where applicable. Please note that this range is an estimation and not a guaranteed figure. Your final compensation offer will be based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, internal equity, and market data alignment.
