Join Our Team as an Estimator at a Leading Construction Company in Pewaukee, WI

Our client, a prominent construction company in Wisconsin, is looking for a skilled Estimator to join their team at the Pewaukee, WI location. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in estimating carpentry and concrete needs for a variety of commercial construction projects, both large and small-scale. This role follows a Monday to Friday schedule during first shift hours, offering a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $110,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver accurate estimates for ground-up construction projects.
  • Analyze blueprints, proposals, and other project-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to formulate estimates.
  • Create project schedules to support the estimating process.
  • Review proposal documents and attend meetings to determine project scope.
  • Utilize historical data for accurate estimating.
  • Solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate estimate strategies with Operations and Project Management teams.
  • Prepare and submit formal proposals.
  • Work with Project Managers on project scopes and budget proposals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support estimates.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Administration or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of estimating experience in ground-up construction, particularly in carpentry and concrete.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and drafting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, construction estimating software, and mathematical skills.
