As our General Manager, you must articulate, facilitate, and actualize the front of house vision for our New England style seafood reastaurant, with guidance and support from the Operations Manager, Head Chef, and Admin Level team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Attract, inspire, and retain a team of service staff through hiring, training, reviewing and disciplining.
  • Implement inventory and cost control management systems set out by our admin team
  • Be a presence on the floor during peak business times making connections with our guests.
  • Adhere to, communicate, and enforce all policies as delineated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Foster and develop relationships with residents and local business through active community involvement and awareness.
  • Seek opportunities for growth through cultivating new and enhancing existing relationships with our guests
  • Evaluate marginal costs and all operating expenses to improve on efficiency, while enhancing the integrity of the operation.

  • Financial performance against budget: Sales, COGS, Payroll, and Direct Operating Expenses.
  • Staff retention, development, and morale.
  • Guest relations and reviews.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS REQUIRED:

Education/Experience:

  • 4 year B.S. degree.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in the Restaurant Industry, including at least 2 years at managerial level.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication.

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team, lead support staff, and work independently.
