Job Summary

Reporting into the Director of Internal Communications, the Internal Communications Manager will manage internal communications for Compass One Healthcare with focused support of CCL Hospitality Group, (CCL), while maintaining assigned projects and programs. The CCL Communications Manager should be comfortable finding creative ways of supporting internal communications for the operating company brands that live underneath the CCL organization, including organizational and CEO messaging.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages all internal communications of CCL's five operating company brands for the sector and within Compass One Healthcare.
  • Internal communications include, but are not limited to newsletters, MyCompass, company-wide and targeted emails.
  • Provides the "voice" of the CEO for all internal CEO communications, companywide announcements, CEO Town Halls, video scripts and more.
  • Liaisons between the 5 brands for best practice sharing of communications content.
  • Generates content and story ideas-including sourcing, shaping, interviewing, and writing/producing for internal and platforms.
  • Includes culture Stories & celebration Weeks - Diversity & Inclusion, Foodservice Workers Week, Black History Month, Stop Food Waste Day, etc.
  • Supports internal editorial calendar to ensure streamlined communication across CCL and Compass One.
  • Collaborate with Compass One Marcom, support departments, and key stakeholders in development of the content calendar, overlaying CCL's and Compass One's business objectives and priorities.
  • Supporting content creation for internal communications app, Nudge, which includes content strategy and creation, support team collaboration, and reporting.
  • Fostering relationships with corporate support teams and SMEs to effectively communicate support team and Compass Group programs and initiatives.
  • Includes 10-15% travel to accounts and team meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate communications role and environment.
  • Hybrid role with the option of being based in Atlanta or Charlotte.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to manage corporate relationships with key influencers, including senior management.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and proactive.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Highly collaborative and readily accepts ownership while maintaining a positive attitude with a "team" mentality.
  • Works well under pressure and adapts well to working with short deadlines in tight turn-around situations.
