Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting activities associated with
HSBstaffing and expenses.


Work in partnership with FP&A business partners and functional leadership and support senior
HSBexecutives as the expense business partner to corporate functions.

Responsible for parent company reporting and coordination with MRAm and Munich Reinsurance Controlling to meet deadlines.

Oversee
HSBenterprise expense management by developing insightful and actionable monthly/quarterly presentations to the senior management team.


Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle workforce planning and expense capabilities and is responsible for the training and support of business users.


Lead efforts to streamline and improve analysis of results leveraging existing reporting tools such as Oracle and digital visualization using tools like Power BI, related to
HSBGroup's actual, forecast and plan financial and non-financial information.

Lead presentations of financial results where requested.


Lead efforts to streamline and improve the planning and forecast process using automation tools and lean management process improvement department at HSB.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years' experience in management reporting and financial analysis.
  • P&C insurance experience is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of insurance accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical skillsand problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop new / improve existing analysis and visuals
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work within tight time frames
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to influence at all levels of management
  • Strong process improvement acumen
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle Analytics, Power BI, or other digital reporting tools, PeopleSoft G/L and nVision,)
