Looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Death Valley National Park.

Job Summary:
Assist in supervising F&B operations at The Oasis at Death Valley. Responsibilities include overseeing front of house operations, customer service, employee relations, and reservations while ensuring department standards and food handling procedures are followed.

The Details:
Position Type: Full-time, Year-round

Start Date:
April 2024

Pay: $23.05 per hour

Schedule:
Typical schedule is 40 hours per week, 5 days (including weekends, evenings, and holidays).

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest and employee relations
  • Resolve guest issues promptly
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a customer-focused environment
  • Coordinate F&B operations to deliver quality service
  • Supervise employee relations, conflict resolution, skills training, and safety measures
  • Manage reservations and important departmental tasks efficiently
  • Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications

  • 1 year of dining operation experience
  • Flexibility with work schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products, food safety, and bartending
  • Completion of a mandatory cash-handling class
  • Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities
  • Valid driver's license
Physical Demands
  • Physical tasks include lifting, carrying, bending, walking, and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Climb stairs as needed
